SOLICITORS
    TMB will generally instruct the Applicant's Solicitor. Licensed
    Conveyancers or sole Practioners are able to represent TMB. Any
    Loan size over 500,000 will require a two partner Solicitor
    practice to act.



  


Remortgages
   

     Employed - Applicant(s) must have been in continuous employment 
     for a minimum of 12 mths and in their current job for at least 6 mths,
     with no more than 2 employers in the last 12 mths

     Self Employed - Minimum time in self-employment is 1 yr (2 yrs for 
     full status applications). Directors with a shareholding of 25% or
     more will be treated as self employed.

     Contract Work - Contract workers will be considered where the 
     current contract is for a minimum duration of 1 year with at least 
     6 mths left to run at the time of application

     Full Status Cases
     For full status applications proof of income is required:-

     For employed applicants relying on basic salary only - Either their
     last monthly payslip or their latest two weekly pay slips.

     For employed applicants whose income varies, for example through
     overtime, commission and bonuses: Their last three monthly payslips
     or their latest six weekly pay slips

     Where the above are not available, an Employers Reference will be 
     obtained

     Second Job Income - Where the applicant holds two jobs and the
     secondary income is required, a reference must be obtained. The
     secondary employment must be permanent and the applicant must have
     been employed for a minimum of 12 months

     Self Employed - For full status cases where the applicant is self 
     employed, the last 2 years trading accounts (including balance
     sheets) prepared and signed by an accountant who is ACCA, CIMA,
     CIPFA, AAPA or AAT qualified. projections will not be accepted. The
     average of the last 2 years figures will be taken as assessable
     income. Tax assessments will be accepted in lieu of accounts.

    The capital raising limit has been increased to a maximum loan
    150,000 to 90% LTV. Except for credit repair and Investment
    Products where it is limited to the lower of 50,000 or 50% of 
    Current Valuation.
